Federal Office for Information Security (BSI): The state of IT security in Germany in 2023

Today, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) published its latest report on the state of IT security in Germany.

As expected, the BSI has noted a significant increase in the threat of cybercrime in Germany.

Of particular importance to our customers is the fact that small and medium-sized enterprises are increasingly falling victim to ransomware attacks alongside state and local authorities, schools and universities. The criminal attackers penetrate IT systems, encrypt inadequately protected data and demand a ransom payment to decrypt it.

Of course, prevention is the best defense. However, if the attackers do manage to achieve initial success, the images backed up on our servers and specially adapted to the requirements of our customers help to get the IT and therefore the heart of our customers' organization up and running again in the shortest possible time.

Talk to us now to develop a solution that is best suited to your needs and significantly reduces the damage caused by cybercrime and ransomware attacks.
