Event technician (m/f/d) with IT competence

Your tasks
- Technical planning, setup and support of IT and video equipment at trade fairs, congresses and in digital examination environments
- Setting up and operating IT systems, networks and server structures at events
- Installation and configuration of video and presentation technology
- Setting up secure WLAN and LAN networks for participants, speakers and examinees
- Technical support for digital tests (client setups, network monitoring, troubleshooting)
- Troubleshooting and system maintenance during event operation
- IT technical support for our systems (network, server, clients)
- Collaboration in the further development of our technical processes and IT and event infrastructure
Your profile
- Completed training or professional experience as an event technician, IT systems electronics technician, IT specialist or in a related technical profession
- Sound practical knowledge of IT and network technology (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, firewalls, switches, hardware setup)
- Experience with AV systems, signal distribution and digital media technology
- Affinity for IT security, server administration and modern communication platforms
- Independent, self-reliant, structured and service-oriented way of working - even under time pressure
- Craftsmanship
- Enjoy direct customer contact, technology, teamwork and changing work locations
- Driving license class B (or higher)
